Good Morning, 2012.
A bit late on the new year’s entry, that can’t be a good sign! Oh well!
Damn, 2011, you were stellar! So very blessed to have so many things to be thankful for this past year. Lots of good vibes all around! Crossed a few things of my life list while working on a few others, read 19 books as opposed to 2010’s whopping amount of zero, got a job that I couldn’t be happier...

Read: Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling - fun read! And A Study In Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - the first novel on the Sherlock Holmes series.
Saw: Sherlock Holmes 2 - Fun! And Mission Impossible 4 - Oh Tom, you’re too old for these movies! And for having your shirt off! It was alright, entertaining enough I guess. Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner...

I set up a site! Hah! No actual purpose, pretty much just an ego boost for me but whatever, it was on my bucket list!

November!
Oh November, what a stellar month you were! Good vibes all around!
Read: Nothing! What? I’m in the middle of a couple books right now but I haven’t gone around to finishing them yet.
Saw: The Muppets movie! Holy cameo cast, Batman! Fun movie.
December’s just started but I must say the Christmas spirit came early to me this year! Haven’t gone Christmas shopping yet...

Learning to be more proactive. I’m realizing that I’ve maybe been a more wait-and-see kind of person in the past. Gotta start making things happen! Don’t be afraid to ask for things! Make an effort!

Midnight ramblings, except it’s not midnight because I have trouble staying up that late these days! Ha.
So life’s been a bit of a roller coaster these past few months, but lately it has seemed to have settled into a good place. Feeling incredibly blessed and very grateful.
A couple of weeks or so ago I was feeling pretty incompetent at my job, like I just kept making random...

Saw: 50/50! Yay for watching a movie! Even bigger yay that it was a good movie!
Read: Heat Rises (the latest Castle tv tie-in novel), and finally got around to reading Shit My Dad Says which was a very quick but also very hilarious book! Might not be a good idea to read this one in public unless you enjoy people looking over while you laugh to yourself.
Man, how did I only manage seven posts in...

Random Fact #21!
I enjoy driving. No traffic? Wonderful. Traffic? No big deal, put on some music and just chill. I don’t get to do it much anymore as I’ve been taking public transit and I’m horribly out of practice! Driving around today I had taken a wrong turn twice and had to loop back around, I had almost driven into an oncoming traffic lane, and this evening I couldn’t tell if I had my...

September.
Man these monthly retrospectives make me feel like time is just flying right by!
Saw: no movies, but fall shows are back so I’ve been catching up on those!
Read: One Day - I was apprehensive about this cause I wasn’t in the mood for a love story but I did end up enjoying the characters and their story, so a good read overall. And Still Alice - a sad story but if you’re up for...

Midnight ramblings, on jobs and finding purpose. Watch out, I couldn’t get this post to flow well. Evidently my already weak ability of putting words together to express thoughts just gets worse with lack of sleep. Oh well!

I feel older but I don’t feel grown up.

I’m a sucker for shopping with a cause! If you feel like doing good while picking up something for yourself, check these out:
Toms - Buy a pair of cute comfy shoes and Toms will give a pair to a child in need! Big fan of these. They’ve also branched out into eyewear.
Sevenly - For every shirt you buy, $7 goes to charity. The design changes every week depending on the charity...

August.
So my temporary work term has become not so temporary anymore! Very excited about this. Feels like I’m on path again. (Whether or not it’s the right path is a different issue.) But yeah, we’ll see how it goes. :)
The downside is I don’t have a ton of free time anymore. Some might argue that this isn’t really a downside, and maybe they’re right, but for now I...

I wish I could write or draw. When I have some time to kill I’m usually going through my phone finding someone to message, checking twitter, playing games. I really wish I could just pull out a notebook, grab a pen, and create something.

- Stephen, The Last Kiss
I really like that line. It makes sense but it’s something I rarely remember. I guess if you like people, romantic or platonic, it should translate well in your actions but I don’t think it does all the time. Not for me anyway so I like having this line as a...
