Good Morning, 2012.
A bit late on the new year’s entry, that can’t be a good sign! Oh well!
Damn, 2011, you were stellar! So very blessed to have so many things to be thankful for this past year. Lots of good vibes all around! Crossed a few things of my life list while working on a few others, read 19 books as opposed to 2010’s whopping amount of zero, got a job that I couldn’t be happier with, did a couple of long drives to nearby towns which was scary as shit by the way, and much more.
Some goals for 2012 - shoot more, get healthy, stay happy, listen to more music, and cross off more things from the life list!

Read: Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling - fun read! And A Study In Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - the first novel on the Sherlock Holmes series.
Saw: Sherlock Holmes 2 - Fun! And Mission Impossible 4 - Oh Tom, you’re too old for these movies! And for having your shirt off! It was alright, entertaining enough I guess. Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner were in it so that was good. To be honest I don’t remember much of 1-3 but I found 4 to have incredibly cheesy dialogue and just okay for everything else.
So December, aside from having the lovely holiday season, has turned out to be the month I discovered Sherlock Holmes! haha After watching Sherlock Holmes 2 I had to watch the first one, then a friend recommended the Sherlock BBC Series (which is excellent, go watch it), and now I’ve started reading the books. How have I not bothered with this sooner?

Read: Nothing! What? I’m in the middle of a couple books right now but I haven’t gone around to finishing them yet.
Saw: The Muppets movie! Holy cameo cast, Batman! Fun movie.
December’s just started but I must say the Christmas spirit came early to me this year! Haven’t gone Christmas shopping yet though!
Learning to be more proactive. I’m realizing that I’ve maybe been a more wait-and-see kind of person in the past. Gotta start making things happen! Don’t be afraid to ask for things! Make an effort!
Midnight ramblings, except it’s not midnight because I have trouble staying up that late these days! Ha.
So life’s been a bit of a roller coaster these past few months, but lately it has seemed to have settled into a good place. Feeling incredibly blessed and very grateful.

Saw: 50/50! Yay for watching a movie! Even bigger yay that it was a good movie!
Read: Heat Rises (the latest Castle tv tie-in novel), and finally got around to reading Shit My Dad Says which was a very quick but also very hilarious book! Might not be a good idea to read this one in public unless you enjoy people looking over while you laugh to yourself.
Man, how did I only manage seven posts in October? I miss having time for this. It’s been almost theraputic, obviously not so much in things I actually post, but certainly one’s that haven’t left the ‘drafts’ section. It’s also been fun finding and sharing random stuff I find on the interwebs and I am realizing I haven’t had time to randomly find interesting things anymore! Bah! Anyway. Enough of the whining, I’ll do better for November. :)
